Overlooking the rolling hills of Tuscany, close to Montepulciano and Pienza, this fortified hamlet features a unique blends of nature and history.

At the Lupaia, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the large kitchen with fireplace where there are seven tables, one per room, and the service is reserved only for guests.

But if the weather allows it, these are served outside in the beautiful patio.

Faithful to the local culture also in the cuisine and cellar, original Tuscan recipes are rigorously prepared with olive oil produced within the complex and accompanied by wines from the area, such as the famous Brunello di Montalcino and red Montepulciano.

At the Lupaia guests can choose from 5 rooms and 2 suites. They are all very beautiful, each with private terrace or garden and unparalleled views on the surrounding hills dotted with small medieval villages typical of Tuscany.

Each room has its own inpedent entrance and most have a working fireplace that during cold winter evenings helps to create a magical atmosphere.

Guided tour by the Slow Food Association for food and wine lovers to discover the typical products of Montepulciano.

A whole day dedicated to food and wine, wandering around the Val di Chiana and the Val d'Orcia: a tasting in a cheese factory and a tasting of typical cured meats from the area, a hand made "pici" tasting and a visit to a wine cellar with a tasting of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
