Opened in 2007, The Falconara is built on land once lived and worked on by the peasants who worked inside the Castle. The attention to detail and the choice of materials used in the construction have all been carefully chosen for their elegance. They contribute to creating an ambience where art and nature truly live together.
The main building, called “Club House”, is only 200 m from the seashore and it houses the majority of the bedrooms, and all the main facilities including reception, lobby, bar and restaurant. The beauty Centre, the Space Comfort Zone, with two rooms for massages (treatments at an extra cost), Turkish bath (at an extra cost), gymnasium and relaxation area are also in this central pavilion.
Particular attention has been given to the restoration works of “La Fattoria”, once the Castle’s dependance, where today the rest of the bedrooms are housed, the majority having a wonderful sea view. Outdoor facilities include a swimming pool, pool bar and a tennis court. Unattended parking is also available. Shops and all other services are available in Licata (11 km) and Gela (20 km).

LOCATION
Falconara is situated on the south-eastern coast of Sicily, between Agrigento and Ragusa, in an enchanting position overlooking the sea. Its neighbour is the magical medieval castle of Falconara, erected in Norman times to repel the invasion of the Moors.
The famous Valle dei Templi of Agrigento, the Villa del Casale in Piazza Armerina with its splendid mosaics, Caltagirone with its craftmade ceramics and the pearls of the Sicilian baroque Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Scicli are all within easy reach.

RESTAURANT
Half board basis includes buffet style breakfast and waiter service dinner. For lunch there is a choice between a snack or a light lunch at the bar.
Guests booked on half board enjoy a Gourmet Menu which consists of four courses each with two, three or even four different ‘taster’ dishes. The menu is repeated every 14 days to ensure guests enjoy something unique every evening.
