Holidays in Western Sicily

Along the Western side, one can find some of Sicily's most unspoilt  landscape, mountain scenery and some great beaches that saw a cultural melting pot of Phoenicians, Greeks and Arabs . Incontestably some of the island’s most charismatic ancient sites are to be found in the West.

Trapani, which brings the sounds and smells of Africa and its immense expanse of salt marshes, now a nature reserve, leads to Marsala, which was the Mozia of the Phoenicians and now is known for the fortified wine that is produced there.
Nearby, finally, Mazara del Vallo, not just a vibrant port destination but a must for those seeking a spa holiday : the sea salt scrub, massages with essential oils of citrus, almond...
there is whole range of wellbeing at the SPA Kempinsky Giardino di Costanza hotel.

The fans of the genre wellness also can not miss a healing session in the ancient Greeks and Romans baths: Segesta a city of temples and natural springs and close to Sciacca, among  hot springs and underground rivers.
