The Therasia Resort stands proudly on an idyllic green hill of Vulcano in the center of a Mediterranean paradise.

It overlooks the majestic Aeolian Islands and has uninterrupted views of the six volcanic islands - Alicudi, Filicudi, Panerea, Lipari, Stromboli and Salina.

Close to the town of Vulcano and the island's principal beach, the Therasia Resort impeccably combines modern design with local materials suc as floors in Sicilian terracotta, bathrooms finished in dark lavic stone and smooth white surfaces in cedar wood.

The room's color motif of creams, browns, and tans, combined with a minimalist chic design, feels elegant, yet calm and relaxing.

The restaurant Arcipelago exclusive and scenic with its large terrace towards the sea, offers a careful selection of dishes of traditional Sicilian and Mediterranean and a wide selection of wines in the cellar.

Delicious buffet for breakfast and an evening of romantic atmosphere by candlelight, makes dinner an unforgettable experience.

Il Cappero restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, it offers typical Sicilian grilled dishes in an informal atmosphere under a stunning thatched sugar-cane roofing.

Bar Lounge Il Faraglione The ideal meeting place to sip a cool cocktail or an aperitif before dinner. The live music is absolute protagonist in the long summer evenings.

The Gazebo Bar With wonderful views over the stacks, fresh drinks, cocktails and snacks to enjoy by the pool.

Vulcano is a small island about 25 km north of Sicily and the southernmost of the Aeolian Islands.

The volcano here is dormant and the only activity is limited to the smoking sulfur fumaroles and the thermal muds.

For a godlike view over the glittering sea take the two-hour walk to the top of the volcano.
