Three main airports link UK to Sardinia: Cagliari on the south coast; Olbia on northeast coast; and Alghero on the northwest coast.

Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport is only about three miles south of the town of Olbia, an easy drive along the SS125. 

Cagliari-Elmas Airport is five miles to the northwest of Cagliari along via Brenta for those who hire cars and is also accessible by shuttle bus
