Ischia

From the geological point of view, the island of Ischia's volcanic nature, formed after several eruptions have occurred over 150,000 years.

The island of Ischia, known as the Green Island, is especially famous for the richness of its thermal springs and the beauty of its beaches and forests. It is divided into six municipalities and is the largest of the islands in the Gulf of Naples.

Today, what is left of that period is exposed at the Archaeological Museum full of precious relics as the Cup of Nestor, the earliest example of Greek writing in Italy.
